Airport in Amsterdam
So I'm chillin' in the food court of the airport in Amsterdam. My flight doesn't leave for Heathrow for another three hours and I didn't feel like shopping so I've busted out the laptop. So with Copenhagen and Amsterdam I saw both the Carlsburg brewery and the Heineken brewery! Hurray beer! Copenhagen itself I wasn't overly impressed with after being in Stockholm but that could have been partly that google maps gave me the wrong directions to my hotel and I spent a half a hour walking in the opposite direction. Oh yeah it was raining too! But the weather cleared up and it turned into a pretty enjoyable afternoon walking around the city. Saw a windmill and the famous mermaid so I'd saw it was a successful stop in Denmark. The train from Copenhagen to Amsterdam was quite good, probably because this time I had a bed for a night train and slept a good eight hours. It also came with a german style breakfast, which I didn't know how much I missed since my stay there six weeks ago. The Heineken Brewery was probably the highlight of Amsterdam. We tried to go to the Anne Frank House but the line was over teo hours long so we ended up walking around the canals and finding a cheap Italian restaurant that you could get pizzas for five Euros. So after I get into London I'll be heading out to Oxford to finish packing up and hitting a few more pubs for the last time. I'll make it a point to go out and finally see that nunnery that I've been wanting to see the whole trip but haven't told any of you about. Lastly I'll may or may not have time to update pictures before I head back to the old U S of A, just a heads up.
